Haven Children's Centre

We offer a range of groups, workshops, drop in sessions, parenting support and health services in our Children's Centre.  More details are available in our Children's Centre brochure.  Please see our monthly activity programme and brochure (available and updated monthly on the home page) for further details of current dates and times.

The Children's Centre is a great place to come and take part in a number of activities to really enhance your child's early years, as well as providing support to you.  The team are all highly experienced and work closely with parents to ensure that needs are met.  The Centre has helped so many parents and children already - come and see how we can help you

Inspiring You logo

We are currently in receipt of funding from the Inspiring You progamme.  This has enabled us to provide a wide range of 2011/12 events and activities for families of children with additional needs.

**UPDATE**The Gosport area is currently served by 6 Children's Centres.  Following a recent county wide review, Gosport Children's Centres (other than Haven), will shortly be contracted out to a single organisation to form a Gosport 'cluster' comprised of 3 Centres operating from 5 sites. Haven was excluded from these proposals due to the highly integrated nature of our whole Centre and the close work that goes on between our maintained nursery school, day care nursery and Children's Centre.  Children's Centre services at Haven will continue to be managed by the Governing Body and Senior Leadership Team of the maintained nursery school as has been the case during recent years. It is important for us to stress that Haven will continue to offer a full range of high quality Children's Centre services for our catchment areas of Bridgemary, Peel Common and beyond.  We will endeavour to work closely with the 'new' third party organisation operating elsewhere in Gosport to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
